Today, I’ll be sharing with you my thoughts on the all new INGLOT What A Spice Collection, consisting of eyeshadows, lipsticks and lipliners! I’ll just dive right in and show you the entire collection ^^

Eyeshadows

I forgot to swatch and take pictures of these eyeshadows. BUT, don’t worry! I managed to get pictures of these new shades from Inglot Australia’s YouTube Channel 😀

Swatches:

In terms of quality, the eyeshadows are very pigmented and matte. They are pretty true to color on the pan as well.

In terms of texture, they are pretty stiff, unlike ABH or MakeupGeek eyeshadows, where they are soft and buttery. BUT this does not mean that they are any inferior. In fact, I like it that the eyeshadows are stiffer, as it is easier to work with for my monolids. I am able to apply the eyeshadows more precisely.

Overall, they are very affordable and have a large selection of shades as well. If you have yet to try Inglot eyeshadows, you better try them now if not you are missing out on the good stuff 🙂

Lipsticks + Lipliners

Here are the swatches of the lipsticks and lipliners in this collection;

I have lipstick in shade #447 and lipliner in shade #322.

The lipstick is indeed matte. I have dry lips but I felt that it applied very nicely on my lips. It did not settled into my fine lines at all. It does not have buttery texture, hence you need to use more effort to apply but hey, you want a matte lipstick right?

I have tried it on with and without a lipliner and both work just as good. With the lipliner, it lasted on my lips much longer. Personally, I do not have an issue applying it w/o a lipliner. But if you are afraid that you are unable to get a precise application, I would recommend you to purchase the lipliner as well.

You can see the difference here. It is much more pigmented with the lipliner. More long-wearing as well 🙂 If you have dry lips, I would suggest using the lipliner underneath for better application of the lipstick!

P.S I love love love this shade! I think it’s pretty mysterious and flattering on my fair skin ^^

This makeup look is very simple. All you need to do is HEAD OVER TO DIASO NOW and purchase the eye sticker (SGD2) and hairband (SGD2)! If you don’t know how/what to dress for your Halloween party/ USS Horror Nights, try this look! It is very simple, AFFORDABLE , fun and CUTE! I think this look is also perfect for Halloween dates or if your FIRST DATE is on Halloween. I mean you wouldn’t wanna scare the guy away with some gothic look right ……..
