Hey hey ^^
As mentioned, I always wanted to blog more about lifestyle and here I am today, presenting to you a new blog post on The Club Singapore!
The Club is a newly refurbished F&B-led lifestyle hotel, housed in a 19th century colonial building and is located at 28 Ann Siang Road, (S)069708 (CBD & old Chinatown area). The Club features 20 luxurious rooms including 2 suites, which are designed by award winning design firm, Hassell Studio (previously known as The Distillery). The Club is also managed by well-established bar and dining chain, Harry’s International Pte Ltd. This October, The Club celebrates its 1st anniversary with the launch of a new dining concept, The Disgruntled Brasserie, revamped menu at Tiger’s Milk and guest performances at B28 whiskey bar.
The lobby was also recently enlarged and named Mr & Mrs Maxwell, to provide a comfortable idyllic spot, just like your own living room.
The Club Hotel
The Club Hotel features 20 luxurious rooms including 2 suites, which are designed by award winning design firm, Hassell Studio (previously known as The Distillery). It offers an eclectic choice of furniture and curated art, decked out with luxury handmade beds from HYPNOS and accessorised with organic bath and body formulations from The Bamford Body Collection, which have been given to the “Royal Warrant” by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Here’s how the corridor to the rooms look like (sorry for the poor footage, I got them from my Instastories)
Awesome balcony to embrace Singapore’s nightlife
The Club Suites features a spacious living area and outdoor balcony, overlooking the stunning backdrops of the city’s skyline.
Living in a bustling city like Singapore, it is very important to take some time to relax. Opting for a staycation at The Club Singapore Suite Rooms will be the perfect indulgence. The Suite room has a King bed, awesome amenities such as aromantic essential oils from Bamford Organic Body Collection and a balcony to relax and enjoy the fresh air.
For tourists, The Club Singapore is located near old Chinatown, a great place to discover Singapore’s heritage and culture in the day. At night, soak into Singapore’s nightlife either at Tiger’s Milk, the 1st Peruvian Rooftop Bar & Restaurant (details below) or along the streets of Ann Siang Hill. If you are not a fan of the bustling city (fast cars and busy lifestyle), The Club will be the ideal place for your holiday!
To celebrate The Club’s 1st anniversary, The Club is now offering a special package, which includes a 1 night stay at The Club King Room (complimentary upgrade to The Club Suite), a congratulatory bottle of Prosecco and SGD50 voucher to dine at The Disgruntled Brasserie (min. spend SGD100). The Disgruntled Brasserie
The Disgruntled Brasserie is a newly launched dining concept, where food stays true to the concept of large plates and small plates. The Disgruntled Brasserie takes on a casual twist, unlike its predecessor, The Disgruntled Chef. This modern European Brasserie offers an all-day dining menu that includes classic breakfast selections and High-tea set for 2. Here are some of the mouth-watering dishes, you can’t simply resist! *P.S Ain’t no food blogger, but will try to describe the dishes ^^
Appetisers (Canapes) include
- Devilled Eggs – Snow crab, Ikura, SGD8
- Angel Hair Pasta – Cold marinated angel hair, poached prawns, yuzu soy glaze and tobiko
- Steak Tartare – So quail’s eggs, bread chips, SGD18
- Beet Cured Salmon – Cucumber, Horseradish Cream, SGD16
- Duck & Chicken Liver Parfait – Prunes in Armagnac, sourdough, SGD18
My fav has to be the Devilled Eggs. I can eat a plate on my own, but I know that’s not how you’re supposed to savor it haha. If you are a fan of canapes, you know where to go ^^ These appetisers are perfect for a light meal or over couple hours of chit-chat. Girls will love this 🙂
Baked Miso Cod – Mushy Peas, Pickled Daikon, Waffles Potato Chips, SGD38
This simply melts in my mouth. If you are not a fan of peas like me, you will be surprised by how well the cod actually goes with the peas. Perfect combination. The cod is so soft, “buttery” and flavorful. If you love cod, you must try this amazing dish!
Foie Gras Beef Burger – Ricotta, Caramelized Onions, Tomatoes, SGD28
Every burger lover loves a flavorful and chunky piece of beef. Channeling into the little streets of France, the Foie Gras is infused right in the middle of the beef that isn’t too overwhelming. The moist Foie Gras also adds a little touch to the juiciness of this burger. You might wanna order this after a long scorching day around Singapore!
Date Pudding (top) – Toffee sauce
Lemon Tart (bottom)- Creme Fraiche, Raspberries, SGD14
Tiger’s Milk is the 1st Peruvian rooftop bar and grill in Singapore, blessed with a bird’s eye view of the city’s skyline and Chinatown.
This Peruvian rooftop bar infuses both local and nightlife culture for tourists. The rooftop terrace is an ideal place to relax and enjoy a taste of Peru with the new Inca Trail menu. This grazing dining concept is the perfect place for social gatherings or even a quiet romantic night for 2.
Last by not least, B28 is an exclusive basement bar, that offers live weekly jazz performance by Nicole Duffell Organ Trio and “whisky fight” drink sets. For a touch of Scotland, you know where you would wanna be!
*P.S Sorry for the poor images, it was too dark.
I am planning to do a staycation some time soon, and I’ll be sure to take clearer and brighter images! But for now, hope you guys have a better idea of The Club and don’t forget to check out the PROMO! ^^
