Hey everyone! I’ve been reviewing lipsticks because I guess you can never get enough of them! So by now, you should know that the Korean Beauty Industry is famously known for their lip tints, besides BB Cushions of course! 🙂 So, after 1000 dinosaur years, I have finally tried PERIPERA AIRY INK VELVETS. These are the new versions of their Ink Velvets. I haven’t tried the previous version but I’ve heard they are pretty similar! 🙂 If you have tried, do let me know your thoughts about it! ^^

Ok! These PERIPERA AIRY INK VELVETS are essentially very pigmented and light-weight lip tints! If you are a huge fan of lip tints/ gradient lips, you will NEED these! They apply so smoothly and the texture makes it very easy for you to blend as well. They leave a nice stain on the lips (hence lip tints right..). They do transfer when drinking via straw but the color payoff stays strong on the lips. I think this is a good and affordable product if you are on a date, where you wanna look pretty all the time with lipstick on ^^ . It is also great for events, where you will be having light snacks/drinks. You do not have to worry about your lips that much. Also, the packaging is very small and great to carry around in your purse! One more thing I’ve noticed is that, the formula doesn’t cling onto my dry chapped lips. However, do bear in mind that this is pretty subjective. It really depends on your own lips …

One thing I have to mention is that it tastes like soap??!! The taste is very strong and I’m not even licking my lips or anything. But it fades after a while. So, you gotta consider if you will be alright with this factor. Despite the taste, this product is very good and I will highly recommend you to try these lip tints!

#1 Heart Grapefruit vs. #3 Sold Out Red – Do you need both?

YES! #1 Heart Grapefruit has an orange red undertone, while #3 Sold Out Red is a deeper red. My selfie doesn’t really justify it, but trust me and the above swatches on my arm. I feel that #1 Heart Grapefruit is a great day time lip color, while #3 Sold Out Red is perfect for night!
