Heyo~~ Today, I have a very exciting blog post for you guys!
Yes, I’ll be sharing my thoughts and swatches of my Colourpop collection!
First row: Glow, Blaze, Kathleen Lights, Cornelius || Second row: Tea Party, Shark Attack, Sequin, Drift || Third row: Weenie, Midnight, Telepathy, Porter || Last row: Hustle (swatches below)
As you know, Colourpop will be shipping internationally from 12 July 2016! Hoooray!!🎉🎉 Also, Kathleen Lights will be launching her latest collaboration on the same day as well. She will be releasing 3 Ultra Satin Lips, 1 eyeliner pot and 1 eyeliner pencil. I’ll put the link to her channel, so head over to check out more information🔛 (Click here)
I’ll start off by sharing the Super Shock Eyeshadows. These eyeshadows come in a plastic round pot. The eyeshadows are kinda squishy, you dip your finger/brush inside and it kinda dents in. The texture is the same for the blush as well. They come in different finishes – matte, pearlized, metallic, satin, glitter sheer, ultra-metallic and pressed pigment. In terms of pigmentation, they are really pigmented. They show up on my eyelids as well. I use them with either my fingers for more pigmentation or with a brush. Both works fine, so it’s up to you 🙂
Here are the swatches;
Let’s move on to the Super Shock Cheeks (blush)
Clockwise (above): Prenup, Mochi, Fox, Holiday
The blushes are very pigmented. It stays long on my cheeks as well. I personally prefer to use these with Elf Cosmetics Studio Small Stipple Brush. Initially, I found Prenup too light for my skin tone but it’s very pretty if you are going for natural makeup look. It adds a bit of colour yet doesn’t scream “I’m wearing blush”… if you get what I mean:)
Mochi is a cool tone pink, which I think pairs up well with a smokey eye look.
Fox and Holiday are pretty similar, with Fox being warmer. Click on the link below to see swatches of these blushes on different skin tones (Credits to Colourpop). It’s very helpful for you to decide which blush to get!

Note: You can get these shades separately.
Let’s talk lips now~ Colourpop has 5 different types of lip products, namely Ultra Satin Lip, Ultra Matte Lip, Lippie Stix, Lippie Pencil and Ultra Metallic Lip.
But for today, I’ll only be sharing 4 lippie stixs and 1 lippie pencil with you guys. These are the very first lip products that Colourpop has first launched:) The lippie stix comes in 7 finishes – Pearlized, Matte X, Creme, Satin, Matte, Sheer & Glossy. These lippie stix smells like cake, so delicious ~~ Personally, I would recommend getting the matte or satin finishes. Bound has a glossy finish and I find that it “melts” easily. It is so creamy that I find it a bit messy to wear. Of course, it is best used with a lip pencil, but I do not have the habit to. But if you are fine with using a lip pencil, go ahead! The colour selection is too hard to resist!
Here are the swatches;
Tip: Remember to always close them tightly to prevent them for drying up quickly. Despite doing so, I’ve noticed that the matte shadows and blushes started drying up already. So if you decide to purchase them, do use them often 🙂
Also, my favorite eyeshadow shades are Shark Attack (Pearlized finish) and Porter (Metallic). Shark Attack is perfect for an everyday eyeshadow shade, while Porter is a stunning burgundy shade. In my opinion, the pearlized finish is the creamiest out of all I’ve tried too!
I do not own much from Colourpop but hopefully my blog will be useful for those who are interested to get Colourpop but unsure what to get etc. Although some shades are unavailable, I hope this post can still help you or hopefully you can find a similar shade in future. Bear in mind that their collection changes over time, so if you like a certain product, do get your hands on them before they disappear:) I will also be purchasing more once worldwide shipping is available, so do keep a lookout in future!
Alternatively, catch me on my social media platforms for more beauty inspirations:) Come say hi, yeah? 😀
